We are pleased to introduce our new KletterRetter climbing blog!<\/p>\n

What can you expect as a reader?
\nThis blog is all about climbing and bouldering. We will introduce, discuss and regularly post new topics.<\/p>\n

Today I would like to introduce myself and our KletterRetter hand cream for climbers and boulderers.
\n<\/p>\n

My name is David Holmes. I am an Australian and I have been living in the Nuremberg region since 2010 – nice and close to Franconian Switzerland. I have been working on the idea of KletterRetter with my wife Steph for about a year.<\/p>\n

How did we come up with the idea to develop KletterRetter?<\/strong>\"KletterRetter
\nSteph and I love climbing and we noticed that our hands were often a limiting factor for us. After x days of climbing, or even after just one hard climbing session, our hands, specifically our skin, just couldn’t keep up with us.
\nThe commercially available hand creams didn’t bring the results we were looking for, so we started experimenting. The first try was at home in the kitchen… after that was a complete failure, we started working together with professional cosmetic partners. We tested all sorts of different ingredients and combinations until we found exactly what our hands needed.<\/p>\n

What is our goal with KletterRetter?<\/strong>
\n\"Dave\"I founded KletterRetter because I want to work in an area in which I am passionate. I previously worked in the IT-Department at a large company, but I realised it is just not me.
\nWith KletterRetter, I have the chance to merge my hobby with my career by developing exciting products and giving a bit back to the climbing scene. I already have some other exciting project ideas for the near future.<\/p>\n

Does the world need another hand cream?<\/strong>
\n\"Flappers\"We have used all sorts of other hand creams (from the pharmacy for example), but Steph has really dry hands. We never really found anything that helped long term, no matter how much or how often we used it.
\nTorn calluses and cuts often became infected or tore open again.\"\"
\nFor this reason, we started testing KletterRetter on ourselves. We even took a few before and after photos, to compare the results.
\nIt was really important for us, that the cream heals cuts and abrasions whilst moisturising the skin and protecting the skin’s natural layer. I think we have found a great combination that no other cream offers.<\/p>\n
