\nAside from the obvious, the absence of my right leg, I am a hopeless optimist and generally always in a good mood. I make the best of everything and there’s nothing that can ruffle my feathers.<\/p>\n
\nWell, I love Creme Chalk, by far the best chalk I know. And I also really like the nail clipper. It simply clips the best \ud83d\ude00 And for cross-training, I’m totally into the Parallettes (wooden handles for push-ups). I can always do my favorite core and shoulder exercises on them.<\/p>\n
\nNo, not really. I’m really lucky with my skin, but if my skin gets thin or I have a cut, then I apply the Kletter-Retter balm overnight and the next day it’s much better.<\/p>\n
\nI’m most proud of my participation in World Cups and World Championships, where I usually land somewhere in the middle (even though I have to climb against athletes who have been climbing for as long as I’ve been alive \ud83d\ude00 and I only started bouldering in 2016). Last year, I came fifth at the World Cup in Salt Lake City and second in a few master competitions, so I was really happy with my performance. Besides that, I rode my mountain bike from Munich to Venice in 2016 and walked across the Alps on foot in 2018, both of which were tours I’m very proud of. Both were pretty exhausting.<\/p>\n
\nDefinitely liquid or Creme Chalk. For bouldering, I exclusively use Creme Chalk, and for sport climbing, I use the refillable chalkball after chalking up on the wall.<\/p>\n
\nThere are two books that have had a big impact on me and in which I often found myself. I’ve read and listened to both books many times. One is “Courage: The Joy of Living Dangerously” by Osho and the other is “Shaolin – You Don’t Have to Fight to Win – Achieving Calm, Clarity, and Inner Strength with the Power of Thought” by Bernhard Moestl.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
